Vannes - France. The Burton Building returns to its flagship atop the dome
The 1912 Progress building, which houses the Burton store and several apartments, at the corner of Billault and Burgaud streets was once again topped, this Monday, with its long-lost jewel. This zinc piece weighs 400 kg, was redone identically to the original, by a company specializing in roof ornamentation (Atelier Auder d’Ornements), in Maine-et-Loire completes a restoration project of several months.
