What a joy!

We were looking for a finial to put on top of our slate tower. After a search on the Internet, we discovered that the company "Atelier Auder" is quite close to us. We made an appointment and visited the workshop.

What a joy!

In addition to discovering a craft, we discovered an ancestral know-how, a passion, a rare and captivating profession!  After a one-hour visit, we chose a 150 cm finial which is now on top of our tower.

"I am very satisfied with the quality of the work done: fidelity of the reproduction, fine and slender profile of the finial, harmonious proposals between the components whose volume is well asserted, elegant silhouette of the chimera whose "small triangle" increases the threatening effect of the tongue , small very decorative ornaments, "luminous" aspect of zinc. The old finials and their weathervane seem very bland now.
