With all its options, the roof finial, also called ridge finial, has hundreds of possible combinations. Thus, L'Atelier Auder d'Ornements offers you the possibility to compose your own ornament according to your tastes and desires.
Composing your own finial in zinc or copper is very easy: choose its shape from our traditional finials then tell us if you want a custom-made base, options such as scrolls, floral composition or other stamped elements that appeal to you. We will study your request and its feasibility as soon as possible to offer you the ornament of your dreams.
Pro Tip: We recommend choosing a finial of size equivalent to more or less 10% of the height of the construction.

Finial Angevin
Simple ridge finial in zinc or copper. The point of this finial is elongated, refining the entire roof decoration. These finials are composed of a square base topped by a hem, pied douche, ball and tip.

Ridge finial in zinc or copper, simple and round, its conical and pointed tip highlights the ball.

Finial 113.B
Roof finial in zinc or copper – this finial is more original and elaborate. The elements stamped on the main body, resembling slices of melons, are called “godrons”. Welded next to each other, these elements bring an original beauty to this roof ornament.

Finial 109.B
Ridge finial in zinc or copper - elegant with its embossed shape called "doucine". This ridge finial has a hopper base surmounted by a pied douche, a doucine proportional to its height, and a ring and point.

Roof finial in zinc or copper – its small in size is ideal for the top of dormer windows and small buildings. Its base is shaped to make a pedestal for the embossed pied douche, followed by a ring and an original point ending with a small, embossed ball set in the middle

Ridge finial in zinc or copper. Their small size makes them an ideal ridge ornament for dormer windows, garden houses and buildings that are not very high. In larger sizes, these finials are thin and threadlike.

The 107.B is the smallest zinc or copper finial produced by our Atelier. It is ideal for dormer windows, sheds or small constructions. Its shape is very simple with its base, its pied douche and its 8 cm diameter ball, it beautifully decorates any small ridge.
